You Can Do It!

This time of year I always find myself wondering if I'm doing enough. Doubts surface as to whether I'm teaching my kids everything they need to know. Are they going to end up missing something? Are they behind? Will they ever learn how to write well? Will my four year old ever learn her ABCs? Does this sound familiar? You're not alone. I think homeschoolers are very nervous about what they are doing. Don't you know that is just where the enemy wants us to be? If God has called us to do something different, then we are going to do things different. We aren't going to be like the school system. We have to trust that the God of the universe knew what He was doing when He called us to homeschool We have to accept the differences and stop trying to do things on the school system's time line. Wouldn't be great if we never knew what their timeline was? What if instead we got on our knees and asked God to show us what we need to do and then trust Him to lead us in our homeschooling adventure. Don't listen to the enemy when he comes and puts doubts in your mind. Ignore it, tell those doubts to get out of here. Keep on, keeping on.

I know homeschooling is hard, but You Can Do It!
