Yesterday as we worked on our memory verses, our five year old boy was excited to display his mastery of John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only forgotten Son... " He had no idea why his mommy and daddy started laughing so hard. We told him it was "begotten" and explained (well, at least vaguely, without too many specifics) what begotten meant.
Let's pray Jesus is never God's forgotten Son!
