Grey Hair

Sheri doesn't have many grey hairs yet, but our kids are working on them. She told them today, "Someday I'll have nothing but grey hairs from you kids. But you, you'll have GUILT because you put them there."

Our youngest (nine months old) fell out of the stroller today in the middle of shopping at the craft store. She was strapped in, but that didn't stop her. She's fine - Sheri was a little stressed. Add one grey hair.

Our two-year old disappeared last night. We searched for 10 anxious minutes before finding her asleep on the dining room bench. She was fine - we were just a little more stressed. Add two or three.

Our youngest has an absolute fascination with putting things in her mouth. The more disgusting the better. She has an uncanny knack for finding the one small thing left in the carpet that the vacuum missed. Every day we get a new answer to the question, "What has she got in her mouth?" And of course, half the things she sticks in her mouth make her choke. No matter how closely we watch her, we end up fishing something out of her mouth at least once a day. She couldn't care less - we're on the edge of insanity. I can actually feel my hair turning grey.

At this rate we'll both be silver-maned by next June. But at least our kids will have guilt, so we've got that going for us.
