Are you looking for an inexpensive gift for Christmas? There are lots of free iron on transfers that can make great gifts. Here is what I've found:
DLTK has lots of different themes to choose from, including several Christmas iron ons.
Jan Brett's site has different animal iron ons that use the same illustrations that are in her books.
Mom's Break Village has transfers that would make gifts for grandparents, moms, dads, aunts and kids. Find sayings such as: "If Mommy says no, ask Grandma! "
You can also make a mousepad using iron on tranfers. Use your photos or any design. What a great gift this could make. About Desk Top Publishing has the instructions on how to make a mousepad.
I've tried different types of iron on tranfer paper and I wouldn't recommend any paper besides Hewlett-Packard. We tried a different brand and when it transfers the design on the shirt it is very shiny. When I used the Hewlett-Packard iron on tranfer paper, it tranfered the image to the shirt and almost looked like it had been screen printed.
Have fun ironing!
